Compete and put your pizza up against other pizza enthusiasts to potentially take home some $$$. Join the Pizza Cook-off Association at the 10th Annual Doc Holliday Festival and BBQ Competition in partnership with Griffin Spalding Community Events! 

Cook on an outdoor pizza oven, gas or charcoal grill, or ceramic smoker. Pizza can be any style, as there will be certified judges provided by the PCA.

Cook team entry fee is $125. Deadline to sign up is August 31, 2024.

If you win an event, you can take part in a competition with all other winners annually to win the title of “Pizza Cook-off Association National Champion”. Read the rules.

Fire Ant Festival Pizza Cook-Off

Held the fourth weekend of March, small-town Ashburn welcomes visitors to the Fire Ant Festival, but not the ants themselves. Known for its wacky and off-the-wall activities, the festival hosted by GA BBQ Association offers family oriented fun for all ages. Activities include the fire ant calling contest, the giant fire ant maze, carnival, arts and crafts, fireworks, bands, 5K run and 1-mile fun run, BBQ cook off, and—now—a Pizza Cook-Off hosted by PCA!

Compete and put your pizza up against others pizza enthusiasts to potentially take home $1000. If you win an event, you can take part in competition with all other winners annually to win the title of “Pizza Cook-off Association National Champion”. Read the rules.

Calling all pizza cooks! PCA and BAMA-Q are teaming up to host a cook-off event in Alabama. Enter to win $750 by competing in a PCA pizza cook-off competition. CALLING ALL PIZZA COOKS! Enter to win $1000 by competing in a PCA pizza cook-off competition. Must be member to compete. This is a new and exciting cooking competition, and we are going to have our first event at an outdoor arena, where you can potentially win $1000 for 1st place! Cook on an outdoor pizza oven, gas or charcoal grill, or ceramic smoker. Pizza can be any style, as there will be certified judges provided by the PCA. Become a certified judge and learn behind the scenes knowledge. Read the rules so you know what is allowed. If you are already a member looking to purchase a cook competitor ticket, please log into your account and select Upcoming Cook-Offs in the Membership Menu.

NOTE: This is free for spectators (no ticket required). There will be inflatables for the kids, food trucks & tents, as well as live entertainment from various local bands.
